Have you ever questioned why you believe what you say you believe? Many people go through life with undefined beliefs and practices. Whether the beliefs are spiritual, relational, or political, I have found that many of us have adopted our ideolology based upon assumption or coercion.
If you grew up in a home where politics were a strong focus, most likely you have adopted those same beliefs. If you grew up in a home where your parents were religious, most likely you have adopted their beliefs. This may not be true in every case, but there is a strong percentage who have adopted views, beliefs, and let’s not mention those habits we picked up along the way that we said we would never do! Influence is a very powerful tool.
I had many influential people in my life while growing up. Although they were good people I quickly came to the conclusion that I needed to find out what to believe and why...for myself.
At CBC we strongly believe everyone should know what to believe...Biblically. You say, “but how, there is so much to learn and so many people have taught me what to believe?” It is our desire to take the Word of God and show you what God says, through practical messages and through many helpful tools our church provides to give you the answers you need. Anyone that has a desire to learn more about God, may understand what God’s word says and how to apply it to their everyday life.
In only a few years CBC has had the privilege to influence hundreds of people to know why they believe what they say they believe. What about you?
