Subject: Update on Esther Lockhart

Dear Friends and Family,

Thank you all for the many email notes, prayers, and encouraging words!  God
has truly been good to us through all of this ordeal!  Esther was sent home
from the hospital today.  She is still quite weak and needs to rest these
coming days.  It does appear that she is progressing a little today, but
with all the ups and downs she has had these past months I would ask that
you continue in prayer for God to restore her to full strength again!  It
was a blessing to see her out of bed and able to sit on the couch for a
short time today.  Please pray that she would also be able to hold down some
meals as she needs to be able to eat for strength.  I have set aside my
language school for the time being to take care of the kids and help get her
back to her feet again.  It is a privilege to take care of such a wonderful
lady!  Through all the hardships and struggles we've had since arriving I've
never heard her complain or even question that we are in the place that God
has called us!  To God be the glory for His sustaining grace!

Again, many thanks for all the prayers!  Please continue on fervently!
