Dear Partners in Ministry, Sweet-heart Day! On Sunday, February 14th our church celebrated “Sweet-heart Day” with special music, food, and fellowship. The Lord has blessed us with three vehicles: a 25-passenger bus, a 15-passenger van, and a Mini Van, all of which were filled to over flowing (we had 50 people crammed in on the bus). God in his infinite mercy allowed us to see two adults and two children come to the Savior, with an additional two adults joining our church in Believer’s baptism. To God be the glory! Sunday a.m. attendance is averaging 80+, with professions of faith in Christ almost every week. Just yesterday (Resurrection Sunday) the Lord allowed us to see almost 100 in attendance, with six first-time visitors, and one Mexican man receiving Christ. Saturday morning soul-winning is averaging between 10-15 members. New Creatures in Christ! Some times the best contacts for a new church are fellow family members. Back in February Jose and Lady Chavez invited us to visit one of their nieces, Ailyn (pronounced Eileen), who suffers from low self esteem and anorexia. Last year she almost died from this disorder. When we arrived at their house we found this young teenager, her Mom, and an Uncle and an Aunt, all waiting to hear about this new faith that Jose and Lady had found. To God be the glory, all four heard the gospel, and prayed to receive Christ. Both Ailyn and her Mom, her two sisters, and their neighbors all came to church on Wednesday, February 25th. Baptisms and Bible Institute. Back in February Jose and Lady Chavez, and their daughter Joselyn were baptized after having received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. They are really on fire, and now they have begun taking classes at our Mexican Bible Institute. Presently, we have five people taking classes in preparation to serve the Lord. Our 3rd Annual Faith Promise Mission’s Conference was held during the last week in March. Last year the Lord allowed our church to give 100,000 pesos to six different missionaries. This year we saw our Faith Promise budget climb to 110,000 pesos, allowing us to take on two new missionaries: Brother Jorge Rocha, Director of Bearing Precious Seed in Mexico, and Bro. Abel Gallardo, Missionary to India. “BRETHREN PRAY FOR US.” 1. Property for our church. We continue to pray and look for an adequate place to establish our church. 2. Laborers. May the Lord grant us a Youth Pastor, Bus Captains, and more soul winners 3. Safety. Juarez is the most violent city in the world. 4. Salvation of many unsaved husbands of ladies in our church. We greatly appreciate your love, prayers, and support, Jim & Sylvia Campana |
