Subject: July Prayer & News Update from Missionaries Jim & Sylvia Campana

Greetings from the mission field of Juarez, Mexico where 100 + temperatures have been the norm for the past couple of weeks.  We are looking forward to the coming rainy season of August.

Things have been quite busy during this month of July.  During the week of July 19Th-22 we had the privilege of having evangelistic meetings with the ministry of Bearing Precious Seed of El Paso, TX and Antioch Baptist Church out of Michigan.  Bearing Precious Seed prints John and Romans in many languages, including Spanish.  With help from groups of churches in America they conduct evangelistic meetings which consist of special music, Muppet's, and an evangelistic chalk-talk.  We held meetings in four different areas of the city of Juarez.  On Monday and Tuesday the Lord brought over 200 people on both nights with many adults, teens, and children coming to Christ!  On Sunday our church had 11 first-time visitors!  Praise the Lord!

This past week our church (Living Water Baptist Church of Juarez) has held our summer Vacation Bible School.  Our theme this year is "IN SEARCH OF HEAVENLY TREASURES", complete with pirates, a treasure chest, and lots of fun, music, and sound gospel teaching.  We have been averaging 55 kids and 20 adults every evening.  One woman, Maria, had left her e-mail address with us the week before during the BPS meetings.  We contacted her, and she came with her two girls, Samantha and Alexandria.  She had received Christ the week before with BPS.  Last night among the many professions of faith in Christ was the father of one of our more faithful families, the Jimenez family.  His name is Saul.  We had been praying for his salvation for some time.

Please pray for God's blessing to fall upon our closing evening service this Sunday, August 2ND, when we are inviting all the parents to see their kids graduate and receive their diplomas.  May the Lord see fit to add to his church more precious souls.

your co-partners in ministry,

Jim, Sylvia, Becky, and Danny Campana
